Giving Back to Pet Rescues, Pet Shelters, K9s and Schools

Welcome to Pet Food Express

Michael and Mark accomplished many goals at Pet Food Express in 2013, but perhaps the thing they are most proud of this year is the number of homeless animals they helped place in new homes.

  • Through the state-of-the-art permanent cat adoption centers in 5 of their stores, 2371 cats, kittens & bunnies found new homes through the end of 2013Kong Giving Tree Recipient
  • 690 dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, roosters, etc found new homes in just one weekend during Bay Area Pet Fair & Adoptathon (organized & paid for by Pet Food Express). In 2012, 581 pets found new homes at the fair.
  • Aided in the adoption of more than 125,000 pets over the past 10 years thanks to PFE's online pet finder NorCalPetAdoptions.com.

It's always an honor when someone else recognizes your work, and Peninsula Humane Society did something it has never done before. The director endorsed a for-profit business, Pet Food Express, because of PFE's support of shelters and rescues. Click here to read more.

Here's a rundown of PFE's giving in 2013:
Pet Food Express donated more than $1.7 million in 2013 to over 50 police K-9 departments, 100 rescues & shelters and more than 100 schools in Northern California.

How'd they do it?

Thank you to all our customers and employees, we couldn't give as much as we do without your passion, commitment and generosity.

Michael & Mark
