Adoptable Pets: Have mutts say, ‘cheese’ for a good cause

October 27, 2011

Alameda Times-Star

The folks at Pet Food Express have created the My Mutt program to help pet rescues and shelters throughout the Bay Area. This is a great opportunity to make your pet a star while donating to the Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, enabling them to preserve the shelter.

The My Mutt program is not limited to mutts, but will hire a professional pet photographer to create a poster to display your purebred, cat, hamster, bunny or bird for display in your local Pet Food Express for six months for a $250 donation, or one year for a $500 donation. This would make a fun gift or create a pet celebrity in your home.
