Jennifer Lee Wilson - A Lucky Dog
Trainer: Jennifer-Lee Wilson
Jennifer-Lee Wilson is a graduate of the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers. She is a certified Dog Trainer and Behavior Counselor since 2002 earning her degree under the direction of renowned author and world class dog expert, Jean Donaldson. Jennifer-Lee is a technically proficient trainer who applies operant and classical conditioning to train dogs and modify their behavior. She offers both group classes and private lessons using the most progressive teaching tools available; choosing stress-free, dog-friendly methods that families can safety and comfortably reinforce at home. Clients can expect informative, entertaining classes using humor, visuals and easy step by step effective techniques. Jennifer-Lee encourages both humans and dogs stay engaged during each session to make learning enjoyable for all.
Jennifer-Lee instructs each session using the basics in Learning Theory: “Behavior is driven by consequences.” Reinforced behavior becomes stronger – unreinforced behavior weakens. She uses treats, toys and methods that motivate a dog to WANT to listen and work for you. These are REWARDS, not bribes. Her philosophy is simple; when a dog is positively engaged, its behavioral outcome becomes predictable.
For owners looking for more pet care options, Jennifer-Lee also privately offers local doggie daycare, private boarding, as well as private training lessons at your home.
