Sheep Dung Estates
This is the place to get away with just you, someone close and your special pooch. This vacation spot has four private cottages, hiking, swimming and more than 320 acres of space for you and your pooch to roam. Located in the Anderson Valley, about two hours north of San Francisco in the Mendocino area, Sheep Dung is also Eco-friendly, having solar-powered stuff.
Prices range from $85-225 depending on what location and day of week you stay. Plus they have a new location, called The Other Place, which has more than 550 acres of space and exquisite cottages, complete with kitchens and wood burning stoves and a TV and phones (the Sheep Dung has none of that).
