In Loving Memory of "Monster"

In loving memory of

Princess Jumangi Blue Monster, affectionately known as Monster, crossed over on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

Monster was abandoned at the Daly City store with her 3 littermate siblings in October of 1998, shortly after the store opened.  Her littermates found homes, and so did Monster—she was our beloved store cat at Pet Food Express Daly City for 14+ years.  Monster was full of personality.  She frightened many new employees with her loud complaints and vocalizations.  While she was always more bark than bite, her spitfire personality demanded respect and earned adoration. 

Monster grew old with grace and dignity and maintained her sense of humor till the end. She put up with, loved and trained her dear friend, companion,  and sometimes nemesis, Pickles as well as many, many of the Pet Food Express team members and customers who passed through (and remain) at Pet Food Express, Daly City.  We will all miss her.

Monster, may your heaven be a pet store with aisles of overflowing fresh shrimp and cat nip with a warm bed (inside your favorite cardboard box hideout).  RIP, and we will meet you at the bridge.
