My Mutt Stories: Zoe

Zoe

Featured My Mutt... "Zoe"

Zoe

Zoe was rescued from Mexico City streets, with obvious signs of abuse. She was transported across the border and finally ended up at the Marin Humane Society. We knew the first time we met her she was ours and she had found her forever home. At that time, she was a year old and had already been adopted and returned to the shelter due to not being house trained. When we brought her home she had a hard time understanding us and where it was appropriate to go potty. She also enjoyed a good book... they were yummy! And the kids’ toys were a joy to play with; however, with just a little training and tons of love she has learned how to be a perfect pup. My kids have grown up knowing the love of animals and Zoe has shown them what unconditional love is all about. It's hard to believe she has been a part of our family over 12 years now.
