Cal State Dog Rescue was formed in 2014, although we have been helping homeless animals since 1997, as animal shelter volunteers and former board members/volunteers for other rescue groups.

As a Rescue, we are contacted by animal shelters for help in placing dogs that have been missed by the public for a variety of reasons. Other rescue partners that we have close contacts with also contact us for assistance in helping dogs that they may not have room for. Last, but certainly not least, some folks just get in a bind and simply cannot keep their dog any longer, for any number of reasons. If we feel we can help, we will.

We have wonderful, friendly and helpful people that make up Cal State Dog Rescue and always welcome new additions to our Cal State Dog Rescue family of volunteers. For more information, visit www.calstatedogrescue.org.
