Trainer: Amy W. de Benedictis, APDT

Amy W. de Benedictis, The Puppy Lady, lives in west Marin County with her husband, her Border Terrier “Whisky”, a very large Calico cat, and six chickens. She is a member of APDT (Association of Professional Dog Trainers) and has been working with dogs for over 15 years, teaching her “Puppy Play & Learn” class for the last six years. She is very excited to work with new puppy owners and to be able to show them the potential of their “new family member”. It is Amy’s goal to help families bond with their new puppy and to teach the families how to educate their puppy.

Amy wants people to understand that early socialization prepares dog to become welcomed members of our human society. Using treats and positive reinforcement puppy owners will soon learn how fun and exciting training can be and the importance of early training and socialization is for the future well being of their puppy/dog.
